Cooked definition: what "Cooked" means and examples

February 10, 2026

A term meaning someone is completely finished, defeated, or has no hope in a situation.

If a child says "I’m cooked," they mean they have failed a test, ruined a relationship, or are socially "done." In the looksmaxxing world, it’s often used fatally: "I’m 5'5 and have a weak chin, I'm cooked." It carries a sense of finality and hopelessness that can be quite negative if used frequently.

Examples:

  1. "I didn't study for the mocks at all, I am absolutely cooked."
  2. "Did you see his hair? He is cooked for the prom."
  3. "If I don't get these new trainers, my social life is cooked."
